This Cheesy Sausage Cabbage Broccoli Skillet is a great low-carb one-skillet dinner that's packed with healthy vegetables, Italian sausage and cheesy deliciousness!

Ingredients

  • 1 Head of cabbage
  • 2 cups broccoli florets frozen or fresh
  • 6 Italian sausages grilled or cooked
  • 1 cup milk I use skim
  • 1/3 cup cream cheese optional
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Cup Colby jack
  • 1 Cup mozzarella
  • 1 Tbsp Tony Chacheres or your favorite seasonings
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic

Instructions

  • In a dutch oven or large skillet, put milk, butter, minced garlic (and cream cheese) over medium heat.
  • While butter is melting, add chopped cabbage, broccoli, cheese, seasoning and cut up sausage to your skillet or pot.
  • Cover and cook until cabbage & broccoli are tender...about 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve & enjoy!
