Easy Homemade Beer Bread Recipe

Homemade beer bread is a delicious, easy addition to just about any meal. It has just a few ingredients and requires no yeast or rising time.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 12 oz bottle or canned beer
  • 2-3 Tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and spray a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Combine the flour and sugar.
  • Slowly add the beer of your choice to the flour mixture and stir until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  • Bake in the oven for 45-55 minutes. Oven times may vary. Check doneness by inserting a knife in the middle. If it comes out clean, it's done.
  • Remove from loaf pan and enjoy.
