Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Pork chops
  • Cream of mushroom soup
  • Sliced mushrooms (canned or fresh)
  • Onion
  • Beef Broth
  • Minced garlic
  • Paprika
  • Salt & pepper

How To Make Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops

Place pork chops on the bottom of the slow cooker. Then, place the onions and mushrooms on top of the pork chops. (There’s no need to brown the chops first but it’s certainly an option.)

In a medium sized mixing bowl, you’re going to blend together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, minced garlic, paprika & salt/pepper.

Pour the mixture over the chops, cover and cook them on low 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours. They will be very tender so I recommend using a large spoon to spoon them out of the slow cooker. They will literally fall apart. Also, do not over cook. You may want to check them right at 6 hours, if cooking on low or at 3 hours when cooking them on high.

What to serve with smothered pork chops:

  • Mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles.
  • Broccoli, a salad or any veggie of your choice.

When you combine them with mashed potatoes, they make the perfect comfort food that everyone will enjoy! Give this recipe a try!
